Following the success of the Desert Locust Survey contract carried out by BAC Helicopters in Kenya, which kicked-off in May 2020, we are proud to announce that we have been awarded further contracts, to assist in the battle against the Desert Locust invasion, in both Ethiopia and Somaliland.
During October 2020 we mobilised two Bell 206L-4 helicopters and an AS350-B3 helicopter, from South Africa and Kenya respectively, to assist our contracting NGO in alleviating this threat to food security in the East African region. Our experienced crew and specialized equipment, suitable for the task at hand, positions us well to be able to make a positive difference in this humanitarian aid effort.
